Summer crush

With ethereal vocals, sometimes dark/sometimes playful lyrics, memorable pop melodies and groovy rhythms, Benoit & Sergio narrate something on each song that tickles your imagination. These beautifully detailed tracks slowly draw your attention as when reading an interesting book with a simple yet original storyline. Some DJs drop the beat in a straightforward manner within a very specific style. On the other hand, this French/American duo produces tracks that are quite subtle. You need a little more time and space to fully enjoy each songs. Their music crosses over multiple genres (house, techno, pop..) and influences (Daft Punk, Talking Heads, New Order amongst others...).
Couple of years ago, they played a great DJ set during Calvi on the Rocks music festival which is hosted every Summer in the beautiful island of Corsica.
They released various singles on labels like Visionquest, Culprit, DFA Records... and I have made a selection of some favourite tracks below:
Adjustments

Let's go back to the 90's with"Around The World" from Daft Punk.
The clip was made by Michel Gondry. I remember watching this video on TV when I was a kid, I found it so bizarre & hypnotic:

It's amazing how modern their stuff are still 10 years later!
